Green bag programThis program asks individuals in the community that are partnering with us to fill a bag with non-perishable groceries. These bags will be picked up by volunteers or director (quarterly) to stock our food pantry.
This program will be funded by those individuals int he community that want to help those in need. Future partnerships may include restaurants and farmer markets. |

Employment services
Single moms will receive makeovers, haircuts, vouchers for stores to purchase attire for job interviews and employment assistance. These services will be done through partnerships with local cosmetologists, partnerships with department and thrift stores and private donations.
Back Pack programTargeted to meet needs of students in Title-3 schools and/or underprivileged households. Students will receive school supplies and a backpack at the beginning of the year. Weekly students will receive a backpack filled with snacks, activity books, etc. 10 students will be served at Woodstock elementary for the 2015/2016 school year, and Sojourn Community Church will fill these backpacks and make connections for other needs for these students. Our goal is to add backpacks at RM Moore Elementary, Clayton Elementary and Hasty Elementary.

Budgeting programThis program will assist individuals who may not be able to stretch their SNAP benefits, want a better life, etc. Goals of this program include, individuals off of government assistance, and therefore less likely to have the next generation on assistance.
